What you'll learn

The GWO Instructor Qualification Crossover Training (IQTX) updates and qualifies experienced instructors to deliver GWO-certified training using advanced adult learning principles and the GWO Taxonomy Framework.

Description

The GWO Instructor Qualification Crossover Training (IQTX) is a focused, 22-hour professional development course designed for experienced GWO instructors seeking recertification or qualification through the alternative instructor pathway. The program refines participants’ instructional delivery, reinforces their understanding of adult learning theory, and ensures full alignment with the GWO Taxonomy Framework and instructional standards.

Throughout this course, participants revisit the pedagogical and didactical foundations of effective GWO training, including motivation, learning styles, barriers to learning, and facilitation techniques. Each instructor engages in structured activities, case studies, and teach-backs that challenge them to apply advanced learning models in realistic training contexts.

By the end of the course, instructors will have demonstrated their ability to plan, deliver, and assess training activities that emphasize safety, motivation, and learner engagement. Completion of this crossover module fulfills the requirement for certification through the GWO’s Alternative Instructor Qualification process, ensuring consistency and quality across global training providers.
